There were a ton of great things in this letter, but the most important one is no doubt the fact they are reopening Alpha 1 sales. Intrepid Studios closed Alpha 1 sales in 2018 and people have been waiting for over 2 years to be able to buy and upgrade into Alpha 1 testing. Be on the look-out for that in May. Also, I think the fact Steven said in his letter this is testing, not playing, an Alpha and there would be expectations for the testers is great. Tons of people are going to be disappointed by their expectations of what Alpha 1 is. Note, the key there I said by their expectations

I'm so glad he made a point to say that Alpha One testers will be TESTING the work in progress and be EXPECTED to give feedback. Very important that people know that it is not an early play period.
I'm looking forward to it. I know all games have problems addressing and fixing within a timely matter is what I want to hear and see not saying where going to be fixing it over the next couple of years like some other gaming companies I hope we all know what I'm talking about. I also hope we see the skins for mounts, armors, and houses soon not to mention a new map of Verra.
Now imagine waiting for AoC without any info or updates every 6-12 months. That would be a torture. I'm glad they opted for such open development, whether it's good news or bad I like to be informed.
