10:30 that's where you're wrong. It's not a little bit more work. If one race can play as two classes instead of one it doubles the object rigging time. I think Narc put it in a weird way, but his point is valid if you understand it right.
What he's saying is that BDO combat and animations are bespoke, they're taylor made for one specific character model. That's why they look so crisp, because BDO developers do put a major part of their development time on this particular task. Yes we do get other game changes but BDO cycles, in large part, revolve around their continuous new class releases. A cool new character released in BDO can bring a player back to grinding Ash Forest, if they're burned out. A WoW player is not gonna pick up the game just for a new race, they do if new raids/dungeons/zones etc. get announced.
So, in short: if you have 3 class archetypes with let's say 3 subtypes each and every race can play them. If you have 2 races you need to do the animations for the equivalent of 18 BDO classes. If you have 3 races it's 27, 36 classes worth if you have 4 different races and body-types. That's before male/female distinction, which doubles that.
When AoC releases, PA is going to have a super fishing event. Everyone is going to have BDO in the tray afk fishing and collecting the daily rewards for about a month while they are playing AoC for a month and then the player numbers crash like every other MMO in the past 10 years. <Copium> We might have BDO 2.0 before AoC releases too.</Copium>

Each bdo class is a different experience, they all have their own identity, and now they all feel pretty good to play.
I think it's the most important compared to "build and specs diversity" when 80% of the diversity will disappear because it's worse than the meta.
If the basic combat doesn't feel and look good, the rest doesn't really matter, except if you only want to lifeskill maybe
This man is so wrong in so many things it hurts. BDO is a solo game? Different races have different animations? Is he aware that all animations are literally the same for all of them just adjust with he size of the model? If i make my zerk really small and skinny would it make his animations different? J made quantilion animations for every class then. What the hell is he yapping about? I watched 10 minutes and im already stunlocked.
Unless they fix that tab targeting combat style to a better one then AoS will never be better than black desert. Narc putting all his guns in AoS, 🤣 a game that will come out in 2040 🤣🤣🤣

You can't buy weapon exchange coupons for pearls anymore, and levels basically have no impact after 60-62. So not sure why he thinks BDO's main source of revenue are new classes and rerolling.

i had a conversation with this guy live on his stream . He basically thinks every single mmo that is not arch age and classic wow and ashes of creation is garbage he is actually out of his mind and cant evolve past 2012 it seems lol

I would say I feel for Narc, with him having built his channel around a non-existent MMO and having to pull content out of literal air, except I can't help but feel that it's on him. This was a collection of the dumbest, most coped up takes one could ask for.
EDIT: Also, like hell his 34 years old ass isn't bound by sunk-cost fallacy. He would've stopped trying to conjure up AOC content years ago if that was true.
