Ashes of Creation is an open world MMORPG set in a fantasy environment where you can choose different classes and races to adventure through with your friends. Intrepid Studios is the developer behind the game. They’re technically an indie studio, but their creative director Steven Sharif has a clear vision for his video game: Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Game. He wants to put the massive back in MMO. Exploring dungeons, griding for gear, crafting armor/weapons, learning new spells, and competing in large scale PvP battles. High end PvE such as raids will mainly occur in the open world. Bosses will spawn and roam through the land. Are YOU ready to enter the world of Verra?

I don't know who this Pareto guy is, but I don't like him. Everything should be fair, and I should get the same gear as the people who are really good at the game and are in big guilds.
Great takes . Enjoy your videos
Was convinced to be a crafter yesterday, let's see if you can convince me
Curious to see what servers look like 6 months in for Ashes.
Great video as always doc
I am praying to God that AOC has equal armor and weapons available via RNG drops through PvE play like dungeons and raids. I do not understand how people can feel rewarded by crafting. That does not take skill at all, nor do you feel that comradery with your fellow guild members, when you finally down that progression boss and on top of that maybe you have downed him 5 times now and he finally drops the loot you want, and you are able to get it! The feeling you get from that is like NO OTHER! Crafting materials as a drop is fine, but do not make this the main way we get the best gear in the game! Steven claims that he is bringing back the traditional style MMO, which is what I crave. If this is true than hold your hand mechanics, individualized loot etc. will not be possible, thank God!
Hopefully we can craft 'swords' to level our artisanship, then process them again for materials (at a reduced outcome to prevent xp farming). It would also give processors a reason to buy unwanted 'swords' from their guild-mates.
