  1. Guys, im sorry, but i just dont buy this whole narrative of FOMO. These packs have been around for what, 5 years? I remember seeing these things back when they had the $500+ package for lifetime sub etc. back in 2018 when i was originally conteplating originally buying into the project. We had pletny of time to make up our minds about if we want to buy in. Of course these packs would not last forever, it was a matter of time.
Hell if you go back and watch the stream where Steven starts giving us a heads up about the pack closure, it was obvious that this was NOT a planned announcement (based on Margaret's reaction at the time). To me, it seemed like a genuine attempt on his part to give a fair warning to all MONTHS IN ADVANCE. Yet people started crying foul for some reason, how in the hell else was the announcement supposed to go? How much time needs to pass before it would not be considered fOMo?
It would not surprise me at all if the closure date we have to date was an internal response to help counter this spun up narrative. I think this was a GOOD decision nonetheless, always good to have more time to decide. But come on, the rubber needs to meet the road SOME day. Either pull the trigger or dont.

I know the wider gaming industry has collectively traumatized us into being sensitive to their predatory practices. But on this one, i think the Devs did what they needed to and the community overreacted.
