The way that we all play and take in media in 2023 is very different from 20 years ago. I believe this will have an impact on the people who choose to play the Alpha 2 for Ashes of Creation.

Personally, I still think the Alpha 2 will be a huge success, but like everything it will have the ups and downs it will need to go through. With a lot of people thinking that the monthly development updates are not a work in progress (they are) this can sway the player base and outcome of Ashes of Creation once it decides to release. I’m looking forward to the Alpha 2 either way as well as the February monthly development update. Here’s to hoping we see the Bard or Unreal Engine 5.1 this month.

Ashes is aiming for quality levels we've never seen before, and I'll be helping them get there in A2.
