This looks like a mayor propaganda video trying to convince us that mayors wont have all the power until they hit us with the mandatory penis inspection day.
First
Intrepid is certainly on the right track by building constraints on Mayoral power into the system. I'd like to see them go either further, and, as someone suggested, provide a means to recall the mayor during his term. A bad faith mayor could totally wreck a prosperous node in just a few days and so far it doesn't look like citizens could always prevent a mayor from doing harm.
