  1. Steven has made a comment in Discord that they are making some changes to leashing of mobs. He is confidant in what they are rolling out, that if someone trains you. The only way you will get attacked is if you Attack or AoE them. When asked if this will be considered griefing after the change. He said no, if mobs attack you, it will be on you. So he feels this will 100% address this.

  2. I fully endorse utilizing monsters as part of the PVX experience and as a way to take grind spots. People call that “griefing” or whatever.

I think if the intent is to win a grind spot, it’s not griefing.

The stuff u are talking about, like lvl 25s just rolling around highwayman hills is probably closer to griefing, maybe if they are there to loot bodies it’s probably part of the game experience. After all, if they loot bodies they turn purple and can be killed.

I might just hang out at HH and kill purple now. Thanks for the idea! Running out of things to do and it’s hard to find pvp in this game.

  3. This is a naturally toxic game. If you have a game that promotes conflict like this does… escalation shouldn't be surprising. The exploitation of systems should be punished, but in a game where people can "wake up and choose violence" (paraphrased quote by Steven) you guys have the expectation that people are supposed to adhere to a moral code of honor… but the reality is people won't. I'm not saying I disagree with your sentiment not at all… training mobs, over the top verbal abuse, and exploitation of mechanics are scummy… but we live in a world of fragile egos and should always expect people to go to great lengths (or depths) to win

  4. Like the walking dead the longer the game is out people find a way to corrupt and mold it to their advantage the carebears will cry the wolves will be sustained by their tears😢…

  5. I stopped playing in large part because people kept training mobs into my groups. I'm happy to come back when intrepid can address the issues mentioned, but until then, I'm simply won't put up with it.
