  2. I love how connected this community 🤣 Q is my fam, cool people. Great video.

There are going to be nodes, but they will be random and rare. Same thing with veins.

My only worry which I will address in my video is the possibility that land management can be abused by Big guilds.

  3. I think resource management will be a thing that separates strong nodes from weaker ones. If you have depleted all your resources you will have to ration for your own node and not be able to trade with other nodes. This could lead to a weakened alliance, or even bringing am attack because that neighboring node that you trade with still needs those resources too. Eventually nodes that know how to manage their resources (and of course defend them) will rise above and the ones that don't will either become controlled by those bigger nodes or be destroyed.

Overall I think the system will support the other aspects of the game more than it will weaken it.

  4. I agree with SticQeno on his take about ashes and people adapting to the game, not the game adapting to them. People want this game to cater towards them specifically, and that is what takes away from games. As Steven always says this game won't be for everyone 🤷🏽‍♂️ if you don't want to be apart of it because you don't like the direction, then don't be apart of it. It's that simple.

I want to be apart of this game because I can see all of what the game is offering and it's mostly stuff I want and I have wanted in other MMOs. I also see Ashes bringing about a new age of MMOs where they can't come out being mediocre anymore. I hope this game forces the genre to evolve 😊

  5. This isn't really about the video but I had to comment because this is a pet peeve of mine lol.. The whole saying that goes "Why are you complaining about realism in a game where you can use magic" or w.e always sits wrong with me. Yeah there is magic, but apparently there is also gravity and physics in this world right? So its still a valid nitpick to say, trees not hitting players is unrealistic. That being said…. yeah I don't care at all, suspension of disbelief, gameplay over realism, etc.
