  2. I guess my biggest question is… Does getting "experience debt" or whatever it's called, actually lower your current level? The reason for the question is because there's a pretty obvious workaround for Corruption. Just put all your gear in a safe or stronghold and get yourself killed enough times to cleanse yourself and then get all your gear back when you're "rehabilitated". No risk, all reward. The worst you'd have to deal with is the lower drop rates and other death penalties but you can effectively AFK for a bit and that's also gone, right? However if you lose 2% of your max exp as a non combatant, then you will lose 8% as a corrupted, and to cleanse yourself you may have to die 3-5 times. Quick math, if you need 1,000,000 exp to be max level, you will lose 80,000 on your first death, then 73,600 on your second, then 67,712 on your third. After 3 deaths, you lost 221,312 exp! That's almost a quarter of your max level if I did my math right.
I find this an important question because experience debt means NOTHING by max level otherwise, but other death penalties do, but if you can be rid of them simply by logging off or being AFK, then there's no reason not to store your gear and run naked into a pack of monsters a few times after murdering innocent players.
