The PVP this month has gotta be top-notch.
You say Steven tends to get overexcited and sometimes miss the mark when announce something. I would say 1 out of 2 time.
When we get spot testing I'm really hoping they give us 24 hours to run around doing whatever we want. I really want to check everything out. After that I'll be perfectly happy to focus on whatever they need feedback on 🙂
Just the fact that they have been selling fomo cosmetic packs for years, selling way overpriced fomo alpha access for years sends up red flags. Steven said awhile ago Alpha 2 was months not years away and then finally admits it will be 2 years after that announcement at the earliest. Statements that the game was fully privately funded from the start but then admitting recently the cosmetic/alpha sales are paying for development. The whole thing screams Star Citizen. The movement and combat is trash akin to new world. This is what you should expect from Ashes in 2024. Nothing but more fomo gimmicks for the copium addict's to purchase for a game that wont be released for at least another 10 years. This game is promising everything and the scope creep is mind boggling terrible. 7 years of development and the ONLY new and novel game feature is the nodes, and that latest showcase was static and quite honestly boring.
