I want good underwater gathering. Great video, fun to think of all the stuff we’ll be able to do!
All I want from them is to do water realistically-Not just visually, but in the way it behaves. I want them to use Unreal engine to its fullest potential when it comes to water physics. Give me those big waves that flip the boats!
A lot of care should be also put to bodies of water that isn't sea or ocean too like rivers, swamps ,lakes and ESPECIALLY rapids because kayaking would be so fun. Glaciers and frozen oceans and lakes are must in the northern areas of the map. Natural disasters related to water should be a thing too (flooding, tsunamis etc)
If anyone wants to check out of what is Unreal capable when it comes to water, check out Fluid Flux 2.0
SubNautica would be nice choice for a good underwater exploration. Don't want submarines, but I do want oceans so deep you that at the certain depths you don't see the light above and eldritch horrors beyond comprehension that lurk below.
Question is how would you explain, lore wise, going into such depths without being crushed like a can by water pressure? Answer: Magic. 😉
Another thing I would love to see is submerged temples that act like pockets of air, like Sunken Temple in WoW for example. A hotspot for something valuable that can act like a pvp zone.
Imagine the roaming armored ghost ship several stories high, similar to Flying Dutchman that was basically a treasury, that acts like a raid. A massive behemoth just roaming the seas.
What I want to see is events on the sea. Same to the ones on land.
