It just doesn't work having open world "arenas" even if you make it join up on a leader and everyone not joining a side just whailing in with heavy corruption penalties "feels" like an instanced arena anyways with the chance of rogue agents, then it comes with the balancing issues if you go there in a party with a group of 3 mates, and its already a 5 on 5, and the 3 mates want to join up on the same team, they can't unless there's equally 3 others joining the same time on the other side, this will frustrate people. in the open world mindset you cannot close the area for participants to join up because else it would be a closed battleground, might just as well make it arena type whether it be gladiatorial arena or a gateway to enter in a fixated closed area. "Open world battle grounds" just screams contradictory in its wording
