  1. It makes me sad to be an mmorpg gamer nowadays. I remember when yearly we would have something major release, some times two. I know the f2p flooded the market and ruined the playerbase then all of the mainstream ones picked up on the those models.
    It's also sad that people have to add so many games that aren't mmorpg's to these lists just to fill them out, and then some that will most likely not release for half a decade.

    Damn it is the dark age of mmorpg gaming, and has been for a few years. Hopefully stuff like New World can bring back the golden age, but it is very doubtful.

  2. People still play MMOs? Damn, I get the pandemic and was an active player myself back in the early to mid 2010s, but nowadays it's close to impossible to find the time for them. Job requirements are constantly steeping, heck even cashier job in some private companies require coding skills nowadays just to get qualified…

  3. these channels need to stop putting games that do not have a release date in top new MMORPGs of this year. I get that games need hype, but having a game hyped for 5 years only for it to not come out, is bad for the players.
