Thanks to Sunny @LoreForged for the voice over. The dude is a renaissance man.
Ashes of Creation is an open world MMORPG set in a fantasy environment where you can choose different classes and races to adventure through with your friends. Intrepid Studios is the developer behind the game. They’re technically an indie studio, but their creative director Steven Sharif has a clear vision for his video game: Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Game. He wants to put the massive back in MMO. Exploring dungeons, griding for gear, crafting armor/weapons, learning new spells, and competing in large scale PvP battles. High end PvE such as raids will mainly occur in the open world. Bosses will spawn and roam through the land. Are YOU ready to enter the world of Verra?

Great vid! Glad you put this out because the new wave of 'I'm losing interest in Ashes' is rearing it's ugly head again. Truly most people don't really know what all Steven and his team are trying to achieve with this new system…err…loads of new systems. I love reading the snarky comments though…just goes to show…most don't have one ounce of a clue when it comes to game development, or they are wanting views for their channel…or even better yet, they are impatient. Keep the vids coming!
Keep it up!
Well, currently my main concerns are none of the things talked about here, but the free-ness of PVP(already burned on trying the game called Stay Out where you've got little to no consequences of "accidentally" moping the passer-by when they've walked too close to ongoing PvP Zone Contest event, and that's not even counting outright Gankers), and the amount of your belongings that will drop from you upon getting PK'd, all the systems can be great as heck, but with how things are in modern gaming, when things reach certain threshold — Im at 100% chance of not wanting to try it
Brilliant video as always. Just when I think I've got a live stream update figured out and exhausted every possible titbit of information from it, along comes another Ashes of Relation video and presents a whole new dimension of consideration. Thank you, Doc.
Also, as a gamer who can't help but "game the game" (manipulating game mechanics to gain more advantage than the developers initially intended), I can't help but be excited for AoC's actually Dynamic World (which might, for the first time, not just be a buzzword).
So basically the story/quest lines are a bit like a choose your own story book, i like that idea, just so long as i don't miss out on stuff, which it seems we wont.
Your best video yet. Top-shelf content.
Because they started over from 0 3-4 times already.
Such awesome videos brother!! Very good explications and visuals. Thanks! Keep it like this ❤
Multiple branching quests is fun an all, but when it is in a single player. It would not be fun to make the wrong choice and then be excluded from a reward, because is and mmo, so no going back. How would they address that?
