So a couple things, the rabbit mounts they've always had just only showed models a long time ago. I'm going to be a an animal husbandrest. So I'm gonna breed mounts and pets, probably not livestock but we shall see. If we are on the same server I'll make elk mounts just for you with different stats and buffs and see what colors and styles I can get and I'll give you a discount 😉
Also I personally prefer the video in regular 1x speed, but 1.5 isn't bad just a bit jarring.
The UI I actually enjoy, but I wish people could just understand its an alpha 🤦🏽♂️
As for the pig I actually want them to keep the realism part of it. If I remember correctly they mentioned you could do the same with cows and chickens and goats I believe after a certain age? It might only be cows or just pigs, my memory might be off. But none the less I want them to keep the realism

Freeholds are safezones and are only destroyable when your home node is destroyed.
Are you going to be a crafter as your goal Else? Just curious since you can only master 1 artisan, so if you want to master blacksmithing then you can't master leather working so you'd have to have someone else make you medium armor if you wanted that type of armor as a mix and match, or just to try. I'm just curious what your plan is

Yes the freeholds are limited, Steven said the low thousands in the discord, that number may change.
Technically not everyone will get one, but the family system can be used to let family use the freehold. And each family is 8 people (at the moment, that may have changed since they last announced that) so technically if there were 2000 freeholds, 16000 people would have access to a freehold.
As for attaining one, you HAVE to be lvl 50, you have to do a quest which you can only do at lvl 50. After completing the quest you are then able to BID on a freehold, and the highest bidder gets the permit. Once you have the permit you can choose anywhere within the nodes zone of influence to then place your freehold. But the freeholds also have to have a certain amount of distance between them so you may not get to place where you want to if someone placed their's close to where you wanted to place yours.
Hey man, enjoyed the video! You gotta check out he full stream when you have a chance, they actually did a two parter for the freehold. The first part was a slide show presentation which gave some more insight into the concept of the freehold. Also(!) next month is going to be a banger, they are going over the changes to nodes! Gonna be a big update for sure.

It seems that freehold management is a mini-game unto itself. I can imagine tons of time being invested in home management.
And to clarify, only Processing is maximized. So you need to transport the materials to the nodes to be finished into weapons or items creating chances for conflict with bandits.
