  1. I have never heard Steven say the words "world of warcraft" which has always made me distrust the entire project consider there are obviously heavily influenced mechanics from it. Its like he thinks by not bringing up the game it will make the beast go away lol

  2. Keep doing what ur doing Narc. Ive come to terms with AOC. Ill be able to play GTA6 (on PC) and 3 DLCs before I can ever even login to an Ashes server and make my character. Hell we might even get Guild Wars 3 before AOC. It is what it is. But Ill be here for every video, watching and waiting, huffing all the copium.

  3. Hey Nars… You keep saying you doing content for your community and people that understand your jokes but Its not true or maybe you Are only defend your moves by saying that. The fact Is you Are doing content for everyone who Is interested in this game… Like me for example. If some1 get hyped for AoC just month ago And delved into everything, reddit wiki, discord, content creators on YouTube And they hit your channel And they simply dont know you then you can most possibly discourage them. Maybe you dont care and you just love doing your job As content creator no matter what, no matter what impact it can have on Future players… But Its just wrong in my point of view. Isnt IT contraproductive anyway? Imagine you criticize game because of which they started follow you. People Will disagree And simply unfollow bcs they wouldnt want to be discouraged. Or you turn them Away of aoc And no point to watch you anymore. On top you just dissapointed Steven which can possibly lead to a little anxiouty maybe discouraging And burnout syndrome… Well my msg Is i guess scream to the dark cuz you Gonna somehow justify your actions anyway. I just wanted to inform you our national community just see you Now like no more "Guyz i want to inform you" to "damn i need views" but it doesent matter to you anyway.. So GL Sir.

  4. Nah Im sorry narc. I did used to enjoy your videos. But over the last year you have grown bitter. The videos are not fun and entertaining anymore and they come across a bit spiteful. I can 100% understand why Steven sent you this message and its not to get you to leave the community. There are better ways to convey concerns and feedback but you come across as an asshat quite often . Maybe due to overconfidence. Asmon had the same issue. To much overconfidence in his words until what happened the other day. Ofc your videos are not political but Its a similar tone and arrogance. I no longer see a Narc video and think cool ill watch that. I see a narc video and ponder if i should even watch it. Its been in decline ever since you started streaming. Going forward i may check in to the odd video here and there but i wont be a loyal viewer anymore.

  5. the funny thing is i found you and started watching because when everyone else was just hating on the game you actually had hope and positivity toward it, it is a shame you have lost that like the rest of us, i get it but when you had hope it brought abit more back to us. now all hope seems stupid to be honest. when it comes out i hope the pedistool it was put on has been lowered alot so it can succeed as nothing kills a game faster than over exaggerated expectations…. you know other than constantly lying about progress…..

  6. Didn't watch the video but read what was on screen at the start and I'm on Stevens side. Though Narc is right about the breakdown of open development and communication the way it was relayed in this message at least to me seems slightly aggressive. The way it was worded reads almost passive aggressive in tone and that Narc knows better than Steven instead of coming from a place of comradery and sincerity. Burning a bridge with the creator of the game you love so much doesn't seem to be the way to go about things but I'm not here to tell either party what to do just giving my prospective on what I see in front of me. I love both ashes and narcs content but as of late I am on the side of the content has become more doomer and complainy rather than genuinely fun to watch and informative like it used to be.

  7. Keep it up. I'm not interested in watching a content creator that gets caught up in hype or fakes hype because the topic brings in views then ghosts 1-2 months later. I had to tell my wife to not buy me an alpha key because I'd rather not financially invest in a game that could end up with ridiculous monetization or suddenly decides to sell the project off to another company just before launch not allowing me to play due to lazy anti cheat software. I was burned by Dauntless this way and I'd rather avoid that.

  8. tbh i don´t like the trash talking nature of some of your content. that maybe because i am too old for this kind of talk BUT i do appreciate your obvious passion and effort in bringing your critical point of view of the AoC project in a way that is probably unique. my point is: do as you like as long as you stay respectful. i am not sure what i think about the lecturing tone of stevens comment. he as well can do whatever he likes as long as he stays respectful. but he has to live with the fact that people might have a critical point of view. cheers

  9. Hey Narc, from my vantage point I think it is less about the criticisms of the game and more about how you criticize it. I believe instead of unbiased feedback and light jokes as your earlier content portrayed many of your videos come off as overly aggressive. If your goal is to provide meaningful feedback to your community as well as to Intrepid Studios I am not sure the current tone of your videos is achieving either of these goals. Have always enjoyed your content! -J

  10. Narc you aren't understanding. Put yourself in his shoes. All of your videos the past few months have been pretty negative and it probably feels super bad to him. You used to be very optimistic and you would be an exciting guy to watch for news. Lately it hasn't felt like that. It looks like youre just shitting on Steven, especially if you just look at the video titles and thumbnails. I think it's definitely an issue of how you're conveying your thoughts.

  11. Ok now we officially have a problem. the release of Throne and Liberty is the DESTROYING ASHES OF CREATION. It is already out, the graphics are amazing, the gameplay is amazing, the mechanics are intense and fun, the guild vs guild is epic, there are little to NO bugs, and little to NO crashes for a MASSIVE amount of players. The game is out, it has everything Ashes promised, ONLY ITS REAL! The reason I am sad is because Steven has lost badly to a pay to win game. The top guilds are all pay to win and there is a clear divide and unbalanced pvp because of it. There is still a huge window for Ashes to become victorious, if the non pay to win is balanced, theres still a chance. But the problem is the game NEEDS to be releasing like now, with everything working beautifully JUST LIKE THRONE.
You CANNOT have my gameplay experience be that a MMO came out I wasnt even looking at, downloaded just to "check it out" randomly and its better than Ashes…that's embarrassing. They need to show everyone right now they have a massive fully working MMO ready for millions of players to hop in and all the systems work beautifully together and smoothly. They cannot have delays and bugs and problems after 8 years and millions of dollars.

  12. Being spiteful is one thing. Have you considered cleaning up your room and making friends with some lobsters, just like Saint Peterson has prescribed?

"I have my own community" – I'm sorry but the voices in your head don't count.

  13. I'm also not going anywhere. I've been enjoying your content since the beginning.

With that said… I agree your content has changed significantly as of late in a direction that I don't enjoy as much. I feel it's moved more towards negative rants rather than criticism.
This is nothing new as some videos you made about other MMOs in the past had the same vibes.

Regardless, thank you for giving us your unfiltered opinions. It's why we keep coming back.

  14. The great thing about the internet is you get the freedom to express your view regardless if any one's feelings are hurt. Its the point of discussion. Speculation, scheming, theory crafting. The devs really should have thick skin. On this as there is reasons for critique. And should be taken in consideration when building a product that public will be participating and at some point buying into. Good or bad that should bring up question in the QA dept to ask why are we getting negative feedback back what can we do to improve upon to get a better product not cry out. When the company shuts down debate or critique you are telling consumers you no longer are in it for the product you are only in it for money. And while that is all good and well for tjoes of us that support your development may see that as a negative and hence will hurt your bottom line..
