    The Sons Of The Forest (For gathering and general traversal through lush environments)

    Dear Esther (winds, sea, ponds, sound of moving grass)

    Hellblade games (Putting auditory hallucinations aside, game has amazing sound design)

    Warcraft 3 and WoW for menu, level up and so on…

    For outdoor music-Gothic 3, TES: Oblivion, Witcher 3.

    No disrespect towards Bear McCreary, but if I could pick one composer for Ashes of Creation it would be Jeremy Soule.

  2. imo Final Fantasy XIV is the standard for music and sound in MMO's.
    It was one of the biggest concerns I had leaving XIV for Ashes, as I wasn't familiar with Bears work.
    After some research, I think we're in good hands.
