I think A2 will get great feedback from those playing it anyway. I think most people who shelled out the $250 (or in my case $400 during kickstarter) know what to expect. Most of the negativity will probably come from people who watch streamers. Thankfully I think most streamers will expect this and will remind their audience often that it's a true alpha.
I really hope for the success of Ashes, but I feel that it has too much ambition, trying to accomplish too many things at once. On top of that, the game is taking a long time to develop, and, in my opinion, its art direction and style look like they will look old very fast.
i have been gaming since the days of grayscale, when computers were only black and white(1980 ish) This is what games used to be i am excited to see their return !!
Narc is most certainly NOT a plant by Steven or anyone else. Narc makes a "Living" doing what he does cause his PARENTS pay for everything his "Career Choice" does not, and his income is far less than his expenses. He's come a long way from the useless twat with that paper face cringe bs, but he's still at the core the same piece of shit he was when he started out years ago (when he was lent thousands at no interest, which interestingly still is unpaid). IF anyone needs proof, let me know, I have screen shots and receipts.

also.. Nodes are fixed in their TYPE and can not be changed, if you wan to live in a specific type of Node you'll need to find that type of node, the Mayor will not be able to change it.
Players will create a Meta Node will stick to it, other nodes will be forgotten, too much player autonomy on this game will create bizarre things.
I am a PVP player so for me I’m gonna be fine. However, if you’re telling me this game is going to allow people to kill other players anywhere on the map and anytime the exception of a few housing plots. It’s never gonna have huge success. There is thousands and thousands and thousands of casual gamers out there, that will never do that. Like it or not those people spend a lot of money on video games and they’re the ones that keep these MMO companies afloat. ESO as a perfect example.
Sawman is lost to us now, we will never see him again after he plays this you PVP shitter you.

The guys from the day before needed to learn from ashes. How to sell micro transactions, and access to a fake game for literally hundreds of dollars before even playing the game. Ha y'all are the biggest suckers ever.

This looks awesome. The attack icons look eerily identical to RuneScape 3's but that makes sense. Cool stuff

I do think Ashes stands a chance. I could be wrong, but i dont think i am. Ive tried other mmo's and i dont like them. I started playing eso as an elder scrolls fan not an mmo fan. AOC so far has been the only other mmo to pique my interest. Theres a familiarity to it. I doubt ill be throwing down the money for alpha 2 but beta maybe. Id like to see things more fleshed out before committing.
