I heavily disagree that AoC is solely a Tab-target Game from what they have shown, nor do they need to admit so. It is clearly hybrid when seeing melee PoV. There are quite a few examples of hybrid combat ( mostly in the Caravan PVP showcase with tank abilities). But i would agree that the ranger showcase was heavily tab.
Side note, I am pretty sure Miraleth was shown at a higher stage in the Caravan PVP showcase than it was in the commissions stream, with many buildings missing and the node being more dismal in the commissions stream, So i think we may already have seen Stage 4 in the caravan PVP showcase

While I agree that melee is the linchpin of combat, I'm not sure that SS actually said that the Fighter will be an orc. "And the Ren'Kai Orcs!" doesn't necessarily conflate the two.
