  9. Great vid, Mozart. How viable do you see the bard being as a solo?
    -> I typed that out, and I think it's a good question so I'll leave it, but I started to stare off into space thinking about how there's those 64 archetype combos and thought to myself, "well olde man, do what your mom used to tell you every damn time you ever asked a damn question: look it up, she said." So I did… and my eyes IMMEDIATELY shot to Sorcerer THEN… Magician??? Are you frickin' kidding me? Oh yeah bud! (Sorry the canadian's kicking in) I'm a gods damned forest wizard irl, you can bet your buttons I'm playing a bard (barre). Cut the crap kid! (Now I'm just saying uncle things lol).

    Thing to note:
    I have never played a bard in any game ever. I am noting this here, for posterity…
    WHEN I BECOME THE GREATEST FOREST WIZARD ACROSS ALL THE LANDS QUAKE BEFORE MINE POWER PEASANTS I AM FARBIK THE OLDEN I AM FOREVER THERE WAS NO BEGINNING THERE SHALL BE NO END BOW DOWN AND PRAY TO THE NOTHING THAT NOW ENVELOPES THINE VERY SOUL GRASPS WITHIN THE FIBRES OF THY KNOWLEDGE OF ONESELF AND OBLITERATES EVERYTHING THEE THOUGHT THINESELF TO BE LEAVING NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING FOREVER THE NOTHING YOU ARE DESTINED TO FOREVER BE ONCE AGAIN A MEMORY TO NO ONE AND NOTHING STAND AGAINST FARBIK THE OLDEN AT THINE OWN PERIL PERISH SIMPLY BENEATH THE WEIGHT OF THE POWER OF MINE MIND… or something like that.

  12. Bard seems like a good class if your going to be spending time harvesting. Mezz, speed buff, heal over time, and shield all the sort of things you need to get away is attacked while harvesting. HP swap exactly what you need to turn the table on the attacker.

  13. Grouping with a solid bard is going to be a huge advantage. I can see them being highly desired team members. Overall, I'm happy with the way the class is looking so far and future tweaking will only make it better. My biggest let down in the stream wasn't the delay for A2, it was the flipping dwarf. Their redesign and thickening up was absolutely perfect, but I am still a little upset they are depicted as acrobatic gnomes. Maybe the flip style will be an option… hopefully… please.
