  4. Patience is key when following AoC xD

    I like to remember that a goal of theirs was to have the bard and summoner in for alpha 1…so they have defo been working on archetypes behind the scenes ^^

    We defo just see a wee tease of the bigger picture. It's been a fun journey so far.

  14. Well, to be fair…I guess everyone forgot about the Big C that brought the world almost to a standstill. Anywho, I'm not on the 2023 hype train. My earliest guess would be late Q3 2024 and that's the latest, but there is a lot of things that Steven shares ALL over the place, one is that the nodes have been done a while and they are in testing and jeez that's been months ago. But no one knows, except Steven and the team. I still do believe the milestone they hit was a HuGE one though. Great vid, keep them coming. As I've said before, whatever they show us is about 3 months ago. Also, Steven stated after Christmas there is going to be a big hiring push. One thing I don't want is for them to rush the game out, and I don't think they will. We also have to remember that not everything will launch with Alpha2…it will be rolled out in stages. Remember the events stream when they showed the vid of the goblin attacking the town? It showed 4 players getting ready to fight the invasion. I still think the world is done, maybe not all the mobs placed and polished, but he was giving some exact times for travel etc…and how do you give those exact numbers if you haven't tested them out?!? There is just so much….remember again what Steven said…it's a marathon, not a race.

  15. 2023 is a stretch by a mile, lol Nice to think about tho…..I'm expecting Alpha 2 to be at least a year long, and considering everything that needs to be tested, I figure that's safe to say. so that pushes the most early estimates into 2024.

    I agree Issues that come up in A2 can push the game either way. And alot of things that cant even get estimates or work on without a big sample size.

    Also Naval is a big system that we haven't seen anything from, so that's qualifier as well.

    And they still haent hired somebody about the economy, also a qualifier.

    I think what everybody is caught up in his all of Stevens tells, lol because back in Febuaray live stream they said they had moved the entire project in to UE5. Said they had been working with epic for over 6 months prior. Then in both combat reveals he says while playing that the other classes are in testing. Augmentaion was in testing etc. and alot of that is believable cause of how polished the reveals are. Also considering the weapon master is (FIghter/Fighter) we have seen a augment character already. So Combat for sure is WAY farther a head of what they are showing.

    But I agree with your general message, cool the speculation everybody, they still need to show a little more lol

    It will be interesting to see what learn the rest of 2022, AMA arent for us, there are PR for people interested but not invested however some good nuggets and reveals may come out. we will get another live stream at the end of the month. another in Nov, then Christmas.
