When it comes to item drops, I think most players just want to play in a balanced world, especially with Ashes of Creation. Too many drops and we’ll end up speeding through most of the content. Too little drops and we’ll end up resenting the game because nothing ever drops. Looking forward to testing this in Alpha 2!

  3. This will not be a game that has loot like new world and other hand holding MMO's. This is going to be a traditional, old-school type MMO. If you have followed this at all for an extended amount of time you would know this. They will not be catering to the masses who want all the loots to be in open world and just wait for mob to spawn and tag it once to get your BIS, that will not be the case, go to new world if you want that dumb shit!

  4. In my opinion, the biggest economy breakers in MMOs are bots. A big part of the success of this game depends on whether or not Intrepid can successfully clamp down on the bots

  5. I just want to feel like I am working towards something, even if my luck sucks (because it does). Random drops are fine, but slow, consistent progress is way more important to me.
