The "covid" excuse doesn't work here. We were told they were all working from home. That in theory, "should have" increased productivity as it did with other studios. The engine change…yeah that is probably where some issue is.
Everyone keep forgetting it's a fking ALPHA, as this fact is just an afterthought

A legit project wouldn’t charge $100-500 for a prealpha / alpha though. I haven’t seen that type of behavior except in NFT games. The owner has more than enough to pay for the servers. He can easily charge $30 for the game and still be OK.
