Ashes Of Creation is a very ambitious PvX MMO. Essentially PvP and PvE are intertwined and can occur simultaneously. Each are important. I recently posted a video and asked for feedback from the community on their suggestions to how make the tank pvx viable. Also reacting to a response video 🙂

  1. I dont view tank and hide as a negative thing. Concerning the option of Vanguard's Challenge mentioned in the video the opponent who is taunted could just run a way from you to create the 28 meter gap(acting more of a fear than a taunt.)

  2. Aegis works if they let you run something akin to a health recovery build. I feel like this would work if they don't make health recovery a stat you can stack and abuse. It should be tied to a set of skills you can spec into so you could pop your health recovery focused skills with gear focused towards health recovery and tag your allies when you see big pushes happening, causing a big net where you can eat half of your allies damage while having to maintain that health recovery through skills that will end up going on cooldown after you use them.

    As far as healers go, we really need bards to be the rock paper scissors counter to healers, let us be the debuffers so we can tear away healing received and healing percentages. I feel like Bards needs the ability to stack into being buffing specialists or debuffing specialists so they can cripple players, I feel like the majority of MMO's give tanks the ability to be the debilitating class. Ashes has the bard unlike most games and this should be the class that can buff players to another level or cripple players with negative effects.
