Between Ashes and Pax Dei, I think MMO's will see a small renaissance. They're both trying to tackle the same problems from different angles.
I'm excited to see what happens in MMO's over the next few years. Especially after having Ashes not be on my radar until just a couple weeks ago. Bought into alpha phase 2 and can't wait to try this myself!

its a time sink but its not supposed to feel like a grind. you go at your own pace
its crazy how much ppl like aoc despite having the game at alpha stage and having like 10% of content lol

I have tried and loved every architype. I really enjoy playing in groups (the best) and solo (still pretty good).
