This game seems like it really wants you to almost put down roots. I'm super curious as to how the "roaming wanderer" gameplay looks like, especially in a world where it's layout can change.
Personally I'd like to see an almost "saddle bag" like system that can be paired with certain mounts to create mobile simple crafting tables for things like cooking. Or perhaps a portable "campsite". Maybe even an opt in mercenary to help attack or defend a node as a true 3rd party?
What kind of mechanics would you guys like to see to encourage traveling other than the act of traveling itself?
