  1. The Bard looks like a cool idea for an actually viable class. I enjoyed the base movements & design ideas but the visual spell animations are a bit much. I hope grouped content does not turn into a massive lightshow where you really don't see what is happening. It will be tricky to pull off this support class in a long term group (dungeon/raid) setting. Will it end up just being better to bring another DPS class or true healer? Will it be a bring 1 and done situation? Tricky. Some sort of balance in this game seems to be almost impossible. I was never a fan of the "64" classes thing. I don't think it will work at the end of the day. It is probably "too late" to rethink that philosophy. Ideally they would make 10-15 classes that really work well and then add more in time. The game will never be complete at this rate. Maybe our grandchildren will enjoy it someday. Keep up the faith & lets hope for the best. The MMORPG genre is literally dying (average player is over 30) & pretty stagnant in 2024 (most are still playing Warcraft). Younger gamers are not playing MMORPGs. Ashes could change that a little but it is doubtful.

  2. Im sure they will have the option to turn down effects implemented already, its a pretty important thing since not everyone has a high spec pc or just doesnt wanna see a bunch of clutter and flashbangs. Hopefully similar to Lost Arks function with the different options such as: 1) Seeing your own + enemies spells only, or 2) Yours + Enemies + Support only AOE buffs or 3) Display Enemy effects only, or 4) Everything and more options
