  1. New content on a new island or continent would be nice at maximum level. However, the gear drops can't render the level 50 gear obsolete. Perhaps potion drops, skins (no stat change), or something that will not change your power but will be highly beneficial.

  2. Personally, I really don't like the power creep that comes with ever increasing levels and I feel like plain level grinding is not very rewarding or satisfying. Unless you're going for that power fantasy trip where you can run around naked and still melt everything.

  3. You can look at FF14 a bit for the relevancy of old content regardless of higher level. There are incentives to doing old content to help new players/gain currencies, as well as the level sync that removes your higher level abilities and stats meaning you need to use lower level things for it.

    Its not a perfect system, but it works to a great degree.
