PvE servers. Ashes of Creation will be a PvX MMO experience meaning there will NOT be dedicated PvP and PvE servers. I understand people not being okay with this however with many of the systems in Ashes so interconnected, PvE servers wouldn’t be what you think they are. What is Ashes of Creation?
Ashes of Creation is a unique take on the MMO experience. Our world structure is dynamic and built to react to the actions of our players. No!!! Don't add PvE servers. The game doesn't need it and hopefully other players can come around…
Corruption will not be the actual main constraint on PvP. Instead the actions and reactions of shared interests, such as groups, guilds, alliances, crafters, citizens, and so on, will provide the majority of consequences for PvP.
Prior to Ashes, I had no interest in PvP. I am so impressed by the ambition of Ashes, that I will embrace PvP.
PvE servers have been a HUGE topic in the FaceBook group. What would a PvE server in Ashes of Creation look like? Would it be worth it to do?? Let me know your thoughts, would love to know!!!
No PvE servers pls thanks. Too much of an impact on PvX servers which is the focus of the game.
PVE servers I suspect would get boring pretty quickly. Not much different than a PVE server on V Rising for instance. But if there is enough demand, and more then enough people for the PVX servers, and the game is as a whole growing, then I say add them. But that is a post launch decision as they have to make sure populations are growing before doing something like that.
