  1. Great discussions, I think Avoxia's point about valuing the reward in the "risk v reward" equation is prescient as well. If it's fun, the risk/enjoyment is even more worth reward for any given action. The metric of Time is also crucial for preventing things from being so unrewarding for the time/risk they entail that people simply just avoid which leads to dead content and dead content = dead worlds (which is depressing imo)

    I often think about games like BDO where people would often choose to do lower "silver per hour" activities simply because they were more chill and less stressful/risky (fishing, certain gathering activities, etc)

    Intrepid will have to carefully manage this aspect of the games economy and activity ecosystem to keep the world alive and diverse.
