Eagerly waiting for the ban hammer for the exploiters, gonna be a big one. If Intrepid was the type to keep their teams on the grindstone during the holidays, I wouldn't want to support them so much. Steven cares about his team, and wants them taken care of. People getting upset about how they think the state of development is slow need to chill. We haven't even had a month, they been on break. We can start saying things like "oh the devs are lowkey slow" if we get into march and things aren't poppin off. Thanks for vid man, take it easy out there

I think the best idea I saw about exploiters was to put them together on a different server, all together. A server only for them, that way, they can fuck up their economy but also find bugs 😂

I don't see players losing faith, I think players are starting to realize that the game might not actually be for them. I don't consider exploits as losing faith, because if you look at how Intrepid has dealt with it all in a timely manner: not sure why it would be anything other than GAINING faith.
Also – complaining that employees weren't working on an Alpha during a holiday break is just silly. If people actually got upset for that, they really need to think abut what's important in their lives lol.
I think the biggest "issue" (I say that loosely) is that people are starting to realize, with the caravan system, that PvX games aren't actually for them. I think we'll gradually see more and more people complaining about guild monopolies, PVP, etc. etc. even though it's working as intended (from an alpha standpoint).

I can't believe people even had faith in the first place. I guess what Asmongold said is true: people will go to any lengths to believe anything in order for them to not admit they made a mistake or were taken advantage of. The game will not deliver even a 1/4 of what it supposedly wants to deliver. It already looks dated and its still in alpha. Hell, throne and liberty looks better and it's a released game. How many years has it been now? 8? And people still think its alright lol.
Exploiting in an Alpha test is strange AF. Why join an alpha test to exploit?

Steven literally said that the game will take as long as time as they see fit… Deadlines are fucking g healthy it makes people work and be motivational right now they dont need to push out anything or be held accountable for anything. I cant believe people are so goddamn ignorant. If u watch the interview asmond did with narc vs Steven u can clearly see what side asmon chooses. He questions narc he pushes questions and tries to get a fair response but with Steven he is big on fangirling.
Exploits are important to expose now. When do you want them exposed? Now in early testing, or later after the game hits 1.0?

Hope everyone had a great holiday season. It's important to remember that Intrepid employees are deserving of that too. We are years away from a final release, imo. So no need for drama at this stage.
Can we really call it a game yet when in Alpha ? I feel like we can’t call it a game until it’s released. I like the concept so far having lots of fun and happy to test it

The whole point is to test the game and find exploits etc as well as test mechanics. Not fair to criticize an alpha. But negatives always sell

While exploiting in an alpha doesn’t make much sense from a gamers perspective, since their progress will likely be wiped before the next patch. From the developers perspective this data is extremely useful since it reveals vulnerability in the code base and gives them the opportunity to prevent these issues form occurring in the future. The worst possible outcome from the developers perspective is that these exploits are not discovered until the game is in full release. Then they are in an embarrassing situation where they need to roll back a live server and upset the customer base.
Now that break is over. If they do not actively start handling the exploiters. It will be a huge issue. Let's see if they let them reoffend and reoffend….we will see .
