What is Ashes of Creation?
Ashes of Creation is a unique take on the MMO experience. Our world structure is dynamic and built to react to the actions of our players. Very strongly disagree with mount perma death. There's already an incentive to have multiple mounts: when they die, especially in PVP, you can hop on a fresh one. There's also a reason to have many types of mounts (aquatic, speed, jumping heigth, etc.), and several of each, again for PVE, but especially PVP deaths. Beasts of Burden are already the perma-death/consumable mounts for Animal Husbandry. On top of that, you could have a breeding system to "kill" 2 of your mounts to have a RNG chance at a specific breed with different characteristics or something.
With the dueling system. I wonder if there is going to be a betting system alongside it. And if there is a betting system. What can you bet and how high the stakes. Is there going to be All or nothing bets where the loser has to reset their account and give everything they own to the winner or will they be betting with things of equal value like coins, resources, gear, skill books, exp, or artisan exp.

i dont like how pirate frames all his questions as "how are you going to implement this thing i want".. i dont want pirates game i want ashes of creation, this is a terrible interview but steven gave some great information
