  1. Also – I agree 100% that there will be much less cooperation, much more node vs node drama and much for playing with long term ramifications in mind. I'm so ready for all of it, especially the more copper part lol

I was thinking we'd only get 1 node in each new biome, if we get 4 or 5 new nodes that could DOUBLE the size of the map !.!
Looking forward to more metal, since i want to GM Mining and Metal Working. Great News !.!
Once again Intrepid exceeds expectations <3 TY Steven <3

  3. I recon they may well make it so only the mayors of Lv4 nodes get access to flying mounts. After all in the end only the mayors of Lv5 nodes and the owners of castles will get flying mounts in the full release.

  4. I agree, Xillin. The expansion will spread the populations out for grinding, and dedicating the biomes to different resource-gathering allocations will be great for trade. I definitely look forward to seeing the game grow. It's a fun time to support a game we all want to see develop into a great game. I hope Steven stays focused on fleshing out the core tech and MMORPG systems needed for the game before expanding scope too much at the expense of making the Biomes we currently have too large to bring up to a more polished state. Hope he keeps his staff within his current capabilities. You want to ensure excitement does not lead to burnout on the team trying to drop too many things too fast. I know his gaming studio is relatively new, and we don't want them to get over their skies feeling pressed to keep releasing new content too fast to keep those who grind to the top level so fast they quickly burn out, and the initial excitement fades. This game should not be a race to the top level and complaining about nothing to do. Many significant systems must come online and be pilot-tested in the lab environment before being released to a preproduction environment. We should see steady progress if we do not get or push Steven and his team to scope creep or overhaul major tech and critical MMORPG systems to where they need to be completely revamped and redesigned adding months to development. The game should progress at a steady, manageable pace. With 3 or more new nodes released by the time we enter Phase III, that should provide a large enough sandbox to flush out crafting, economy, and other things on the roadmap. As long as all things combat, game stability, core systems, and game loops get flushed out, the game will be in a good spot to build content and polish the game for years and years to come. Supporting a project and participating actively in the weekly changes is really fun. Being part of the pilot lab testing team is fun. To know you played a part in impacting the final product is not something many MMORPG gamers can claim they did. When the actual beta is released, I hope a founder's cosmetic skin or a monument is placed in the world as a reminder of our collective community contribution in supporting and contributing to the project. Knowing how Steven interacts with the backers, he will do something for the community. Stay safe, and I look forward to seeing you and possibly grouping up in Verra.

  5. I think you have to attack the other node before you are their vassal
while you are both stage 3
Otherwise you will need to change citizenship in order to attack

When you are a vassal, you already lost the fight.

  6. There had to be atleast 3 new nodes (probaly 4 tbh there be atleast 1 in the tropics aswell i think) to accomodate the vassaling system since every 3 nodes only 2 can make it to village/town state due to vassalisation stops them after a bit so u needed more nodes to accomodate the required building plots for crafting. if we get a total of 9 nodes now that means we get 6 buildable nodes.
not to mention Vassalisation one of those system that need 2 be working at the start of phase 2 otherwise it kinda defeats the purpose.

Also vasalisation starts at phase 3 not 4 😛 atleast according to the wiki

I can see large guilds building a journeyman bench and then instantly vote to destroy it the moment they craft high quality lvl 20 say weapons and proceed to destroy any nodes that gets close to trying to build journeyman weaponsmith cause they aleady got there weapons made and now they dont want anyone else to catch up there

  7. TLDR, 3 more nodes. (No information)
Node sieges (still no beneficial reason to fight)
Vassal system, vassalized nodes cannot attack the parent node. STOP.

there is plenty of copper Steven even said, so you're just not in the guild that's farming the copper.

  8. i didnt play much was waitting for phase 2 i hope they actually try to make whatever their goal is for phase2 to untill phase3 polished like mobs spawn where they should and small stuff like this since theres gonna be way more time than in phase 1.. that was main problem for me running to another node and starting to grind there was hard if u wanted to do it as a low lvl

  9. I have found that there is plenty of metal on the map. The problem is that until we get player stalls and the economy flows. All of that metal is sitting in people’s inventory. I know this is the case because I got back on after a server reset and was amazed at how much metal I found in places that were usually empty. This tells me people are hoarding the metal and I don’t think that’s a malicious thing. I think there’s just not enough to craft with it and there’s not enough mechanisms in game to sell it that all changes when we get player stalls on the 20th.

  10. Very excited for phase 2, especially for lyneth. We will finally get to see good examples of how things play out on servers that are home to guilds like ActualPirates when there is real incentive for others to challenge them.

  11. They never said they were increasing the size of the tropix at the start of phase 2. In the last livestream, they said "iterative" changes to the tropix, but no expansion. Whereas with the desert they also promised expansion.

  12. Once again…. You have to mine the BASALT / GRANITE nodes for it to respawn as a metal. They don't have a unique spawn for just metal.

It works just like hunting, you have to kill the grem, wolf, etc, for the respawn to become the huntable version of that creature.
