  1. I couldn't like Pax Dei so much really… It feels like giving Everquest Next gameplay in Unreal Engine 5 version. Ashes of Creation looks better and giving more impactful impression with more realistic visuals for a mmorpg, similar to Archeage and Lineage 2 feeling.

Pax Dei is no future when Ashes of Creation releases, yes there will be a Pax Dei community to play the game, similar to New World fans; but Ashes of Creation is going to be the main star of mmorpg players. When Ashes of Creation comes how Aion 2, Quinfall, Archeage 1 and Archeage 2 and even New World and new LOTR, RIOT, WoW mmorpg like mmorpgs are going to survive (they are going to lost lots of players to Ashes of Creation)?

  2. Sorry to break it for you guys but Pax Dei doesn't bring anything new to the table. Innovates nothing. It's not the best at any system it has in it compared to other games. Lacks content. Extremely generic. I don't understand the hype behind it.

  3. Copium for new games don't hit hard enough, but the cravings are still increasing to the point of rewatching new episodes of Shangri-La Frontier and dreaming of living long enough to experience a new era of gaming.

  4. The problem with ashes is the gamers hear very little about it and it takes them very long to finish the game. ok, its a mmo….normal by the industry, but in the end…the topic falls under the table for the normale mmo fans.

  5. Pax Dei has also let some people play an alpha already. Without selling thousands of dollars worth of DLC they couldn't even make 3D renders for. Very different.

  6. I just dont like the art direction of both games. Ive been playing MMOs for 15 years + and these graphics feel to ''real", not saying I like cartoon style graphics but maybe something in the middle. These games look great now but idk, feels like they could be outdated rather soon.

  8. Pax Die feels (texture/building), a lot like Chimeraland, though already as polished as said game after 2 years xD. As long as Pax Die doesnt keel over suddenly, (cough Chimeraland), then it should be great. πŸ™‚

  9. These games won't just die cause they are trying to make a genre work that has always been extremely hit or miss. Being made by people who have basically no experience in the genre outside of Eve. They'll die cause not enough people can run them above 30 fps.

  10. I love your channel Narc, you have a bright future for sure. Honestly I don’t think AoC will ever come out so I hope you still find mmos that bring you joy and to make content about

  11. These games are fun for exactly two weeks at launch. You go in, you play around. You build some crap. You max out your whatever skill. You realize there is nothing to do. You quit.

Anyone joining more than a month after launch will spawn into a world completely filled by stuff made by other people and every scrap of land claimed.

This is what happens to all sandbox MMOs. They have been tried over and over and they fail every time.
