All for one… one for all? Alts is something people love to have in MMOs. I, myself, LOVE Alts and usually in alot of the MMOs I play want to have multiple classes at max level. In Ashes of Creation however, leveling will be quite a time commitment compared to your average MMO. This video looks at the World of Warcraft model for alts versus the Final Fantasy 14 model to see what feels the best for Ashes of Creation. What do you prefer personally? Let’s talk about it!

  1. I like the FF model but having multiple alts for different purposes like professions, being a different race for a certain class, or RP purposes is really nice. I don't care either way but in Alpha 2, we will see what should be account-wide or maybe just leave it as is. We will have to see when testing happens.

  2. I think as long as the method for changing secondary archetype isnt too lengthy/expensive, I'd be happy to level seperate Alts for each Primary Archetype, as each class would be able to provide 8 slightly difference experiences.

  3. I rather like that characters have a specific role in a party. And there is nothing wrong with us altahaulics, no need for therapy here. With the secondary skills adding flavor, and the races adding varied content, coupled with the nodes changing the options, content may not be as repetitive or as bland as many think.
