  1. From what I’ve seen they are going for. Quite a minimal style for the UI anyway which I’m happy with as for me I just don’t like big chunk UI’s in regards to other addons like dps meters I think it will be refreshing just experiencing a game for what it is and not just having to google all best settings and best add on guides before you even start playing. I really do think they’re going to take us back to actually immersing ourselves within the game and I honestly can’t wait

  2. I would like to have some ability to log and read logs. I'd like, for example, to log chats, or the names of group mates and attackers. I understand the need to minimize parsing.

Character names could have funny characters in them.

  3. Good. Parses and s**t like that ruin the community.

I also want to remind everyone, this game will be over 80% PVP. Remember PVE is 20%. So this kind of stuff won't matter.

  4. Love the garbage from that guy pimping Pantheon…'countering the fanboys….opening their eyes with facts' he says…but doesn't say one thing that is actually a fact and not an opinion. Its amazing people that stupid can manage to even cross the street without getting themselves killed…just saying. Prolly a dev over at the studio making Pantheon who has no life when not at work so he has to troll people who are pro Ashes.

  5. The only thing I am a little worried about is not having a damage meter to see who is slacking off. I expect a lot of raid wipes and people flaming at each other. I think it's cool how you have to read the quests to figure out what to do like in old World of Warcraft up to a certain patch during Wrath of the Lich King. I hope they had some secret quest chains from npcs that don't look important that leads to some kind of very rare or unique item (unique item being the first to complete the quest gets the only reward).

  6. I never had an issue with addons that change visuals of the UI etc. However anything that gives players an advantage over others who dont run the addon shouldnt be allowed. Anything that assists with completing content more proficiently shouldnt be allowed.

  7. Ngl I want that dmg meter to compare my massive Internet d cuz I've nothing else in life.

PvP addons also always been amazing. But yeah whatever I'm trying to take Ashes on a more casual note.

  8. While I agree that the negatives of elitism and toxicity are reason enough to not have damage meters present, I find myself preferring them. They offer good feedback for the effectiveness of my build and strategies, and allow me to gauge their output vs others. Really, I suppose they won't be necessary as long as Ashes also supplies that feedback in one format or another.
