Essentially making sure your node is immune from sieges so long as it advances. Great idea IMO. Gives all the incentive players need to progress the node and make sure they are the ones doing the attacking.

The Patron guilds will kinda be like a council the mayor will meet with to determine how much support they have in the coming wars. I am loving the amount of immersion that's possible here
