I hate Narc.. always complaining and trying to create his own game by his wishes and when its not like he wants than it is bad. Im happy he is over with ashes.. very pesimistic everything is wrong.. you have nice objective opinion. Idk why would it be scam since if he make the game what he promised he will earn way more money than just by selling game for 100 dollars to 10k people. AoC will have a dedicated player base, much like bethesda games.
This is roughly 10 years of development, the early access keys are a scam.
