He said in the QA portion that Action Combat advantage is faster target acquisition in a multi-target scenario.
Id like to see action bow mode to be used for puzzle type content and shooting things that arent mobs(monsters) akin to the legend of zelda.
Yeah nah, we dont need an incentive for action mode to be played. Nobody should be forced to play the action combat system to stay competitive. Its an MMO not an FPS so everybody who chooses action combat will do it only for the feeling not because he wants to get a clap on the shoulder or get some kind of goodie out of it. Aka the focus and skill in a successfull MMO combat system never lied and will never lie in the forced use to action combat. The overall playerbase doesnt want it.

Are you serious? thats what you want from a ranger? he atks slower than a fucking tank for fucks sake thats not a ranger! that video actually made me NOT want to play the game
Since they have shown us melee with a weaponmaster and rogue, and now a ranged fighter I am assuming the next class would be either arcane, though both mage and cleric were played during alpha 1, or a support class such as a bard. I am hoping for the latter.
It looks really great, I might actually consider playing ranger as my main instead of mage when the game comes out. But it's still in alpha so everything can change.
