  1. I like it if it's not just 1 death and keeping skins. Something like 10, 20, 50 w/e number is balanced out, I'll be okay with it. Otherwise the Animal Husbandry players won't have much to do late game. And no, I'm not an Animal Husbandry person and never want to be. Could even add a place in stables that can gain some already lost lives back, but can only do it a limited number of times, or something along those lines.

  2. Mounts should 100% have a limited lifespan! Intrepid could give all mounts a Lifeforce stat that every time a mount dies it loses a portion! That would allow for multiple deaths before losing it permanently and could also be a stat that can be increased with the breeding system!

  3. Mount permadeath in some form is necessary since we have breeding being a thing. Skins would carry over, I can't think of a game where you had skins that are lost with the item.

  4. From a collection standpoint I dont like permanent death. The idea of loosing progress with respect to mounts, pets and other things that are core to most MMO's is not something I favor. One of the reason's people play MMO's is to collect things. To be a completionist.

That said, I do think something needs to be done to keep the artisan skill relavant. Maybe mounts die but you need special materials to bring them back to life, food to sustain them or give them buffs that only that artisan skill can provide. I don't have the answers necessarily but I would prefer to keep what I earn. I understand the risk/vs reward philosophy, but does everything in the game need to be subject to loss? Let me keep my fun in some areas of the game.
