MOST are not READY for ASHES OF CREATION!

Read more about Ashes of Creation ➜ https://ashesofcreation.mgn.tv

Ashes is going to be a very difficult MMO compared to most modern MMOs. You will get to level cap in a few days, you will not get a full set of epic gear in a few weeks. Instead, you will have to earn things by playing a LOT. There will probably be a lot of grind despite them saying there will not be. You may never get certain items, mounts, or titles. There might be a significant power gap.

  1. I agree, there will be a lot of crying from those who have never played an 'e[ic PvP MMO'. Lots of consequences, lots of stuff that pretty much requires a group/guild. Not many 'mindless' activities since PvP is always on. Losing your trade caravan will be rough. My biggest concern though is that these types of MMOs tend to form massive, server oppressing guilds. I know they have stuff in place to prevent massive guilds but tons of alliances, multiple guilds that are the same guild, etc…. hopefully wankers just go away and play something else but you just know they'll stick around and glom into a giant ball of mediocrity on some servers, blobbing about with massive numbers.

  2. people need understand "Risk vs reward" so game is pure PvP bcs everything is open.Game have alot of features, but everything is connected with PvP.Steven already said "game is not for everyone" and also not for solo players :D!i really hope they gonna make good combat system bcs this is the key of success all those features in game! For reason BDO after 7+ years still on top 5 mmorpg and crazy active bcs of crazy good combat and whole mehanics in the game, also classes mehanics and animation on another lvl!

  3. As far as I know this game is going to be subscription based. Everyone that is interested can just give it a try for a month, then play it more if they like it or not playing anymore if they don't.

The "hardcores" want the game to be as punishing as possible while the "casuals" want the game to less punishing. Which is kinda ridiculous as the game is yet to be released.

  4. The next generation new Archeage Drama, Monopolization, ganging, zerging, negative propoganda, gossips, lies, ** talks, fabricating lies to ruin the targeted heroes, guilds, and players who oppose on their end game domination, and mega Toxicity level 2 is confirmed… This is what is going to happen in Ashes of Creation. There is no need to have brain to know what is coming. Therefore, many players will quit, small and medium sized guilds cannot survive, and you need to play this game like a full time 24/7 everyday for 8 hours minimum to survive and get legal gold to gear up, or just buy GOLD to gear up so fast. It is TAB-TARGET game is better gear always win. One shot everyone, or a few clicks to defeat your opponents similar to Archeage, Lineage 2, Aion, and even New World…

  6. You're right, the problem is steven is way too ambitious. He has a lot of good ide on paper but they seems to be impossible to make all of them reality. Also some of his ideas are countering each other.
Somewhere udner the pvp section it says the pvp will be balaced to high scale and 1v1s will be rock paper scissors and if you combine it with the lossing half of your collecables when someone kills you then you get an unfair game that makes you rage quit. Just imagine collectin 2000 materials and a "cissors" player ambushes you and you are "paper".

  7. While all of your points are, of course, based upon expectations rather than experience (A2 1Q 24), I would have to say that, at least to me, they appear valid given what we have seen and have been told. Neglecting the fact that expectations never equate 100% to practice, I do expect the majority of the fans that have not done their due diligence concerning the game design to have a very rude awakening come A2. To extend your argument, my judgement is that even hard core players who learn to play the game extremely well and devote huge chunks of time to advancement will never have access to the top tier content. There simply won't be a sufficient supply of elite items/content for all the hundreds, if not thousands of top tier players. The ghost behind the design of AoC has always been the elitist perspective of its designer. The only real question is whether the rest of the game, those elements available to the majority of players based upon their own or collective effort, is entertaining and engaging enough to maintain a player base. The modern gamer is conditioned, as you said, to the "everyone can do everything" philosophy and will not play a game that does not offer them a rewarding experience, based upon their own individual standards. I, personally, do not intend to be a "cog in the machine" that facilitates elitist play. If the segment of the game that is available to me is fun and interesting, I'll play. Otherwise, I'll drop AoC and never look back.
