  1. I'm on team Jibbs this time. I solo'd to 7.5, grouped to 9.5, then solo'd to 10. and had fun with all of it. Soloing you have to stay within your level and it takes longer, but I don't think thats bad. The mobs around New Aela where stronger because it was at the village stage, when it gets to the town stage the mobs will be even stronger in that area.

  2. I kinda feel like this is what we all signed up for. I come from the EQ days back in 1999. Solo play was what we called blue farming. Its slow but safe solo. Some blues you can take on 2-3 at a time if you have the right kit. My worry is we have such a small part of the map and it takes 30-40 min to get to a team. What happens when you team is 3hrs away? So you say hell no and then just farm blues? That really boring. No risk, low reward.

  3. I have a mixed opinion on this. I’d like to see a better system than mob tagging but I love the group focus. On the new player experience perhaps they could have NPC parties that new players could join to help them level if there are not enough player characters in the new player zone

  4. I agree about solo play in the long run but I do like the old school way of it all. However – i would be ok with a mentor system where high level is downgraded to a lower level to group with lower level, The low level still gets all the content which is good imo. As for the high level – maybe some kind of incentive to mentor but I currently do not have any clue what that might be. But i do think this is a subject to be addressed or new player wont be coming in — have seen this before.

  5. ITS AN MMO why does everyone want to SOLO in a MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER ONLINE GAME. it's a community driven game. if you want to solo go play a single player game….this isnt the game for you if you want to solo the content end of story

  6. friendly reminder that grinding mobs is NOT the only way to level solo, its kinda an exploit. the game gives xp for EVERYTHING you do. you can just train professions and do quests and easily level solo

  7. With solo leveling. I wonder if you can use the method. Kill with a borrowed knife from the art of war. By use the PVX elements of the game and tricking other players into attacking a heard of monsters or a boss you pull towards them and allows them to do most of the heavy lifting and easily kill them. You could also steal kill from other players while they are grinding.

  8. Mob tagging gets friction, friction causes potential fun gameplay/interactions with other players. Itll make you consider, teaming up or fighting the other players, and thats what this game is all about. Risk and reward, gotta say I really enjoyed the group and solo content and it should 100% keep the difficulty
