  1. How is it possible in a 2 hours conversation you didnt disagree ONCE? Before you finished many of your sentences i am thinking "actually no" and the responses are ALWAYS "yes" "i agree" "totally" like how about expressing a different opinion and do actually constructive dialogue for real!? It is literally impossible after 2 hours of talking both agreeing in 100% of the topics, it feels like i hear 2 robots or 2 paid actors and you are not the only 2 that doing that its the overwhelming majority of AoC content creators and my genuine question is did Intrepid give you all guys specific orders to make "positive only" content before the alpha 2 starts?

Good idea for military node citizens, like merchant node people can set up there merchant stalls any where, maybe military node people can set up various types of arenas or dueling rings and enabling betting on the people that battle. So military node people would me upholding the rules of proper duils

Bruh… Items decaying to destruction is awful for an MMO, and ashes already has a version of this planned, but not the way you described, for example, gear of artifact quality is planned to decay and destroy, some legendaries that are unique will NOT decay like artifacts will, but if the player stops playing, they will become available again. But, every item will consume materials to be repaired, instead of the classic gold tax.

    On the other hand, you have the enchanting system which can decay or even destroy the item on failure, which will force you to have backup gear in case you botch the one you’re working on, which helps with scarcity and economy.

    And lastly, there are plans to make gear situational, so having various loadouts will be a thing.

    Imagine if on top of all these systems you added gear destruction on decay… there’s so much frustration and grind you can take from a game before it becomes unfun, and ashes is already looking grind-heavy without gear destruction on decay .

  4. Nah, I don't like the limited repair of gear/items. You'll be swapping entre gear sets out, resepeccing, enchants, weapon damage types, depending on where you're going. So the idea of my +12 over-enchanted Fire Staff going poof is a real feels-bad, when I need every Elemental Staff +12, with Plate, Leather, Cloth, and matching Jewelry sets for each!

  5. PvE impacts PvP in MOBAs all the time. Killling Roshan the most in DoTA can determine the outcome of the game. Even way back in 2004 WoW, you could do quests to summon boss-level NPCs in AV.

    Intrepid wants to carebear even instance PvP, but wants PvE to be risky. It makes no sense.
