Ashes of Creation is a new MMO that has been anticipated for a very long time and finally it has released in an alpha state where we are able to showcase the gameplay and see a very unpolished state of which the game is currently in. I was lucky enough to get access to this alpha so this is my very first impressions on the game!

  4. bad animation, oudated combat, oudated graphic… and they charged 60$ for closed beta… ah anyway I'm not gonna spoil myself a new game…do what u do content creaotrs

  9. 1:57 sort of, that exchange with Gimli talking about his people and Aragorn quietly interjecting with the beards comment is played for a joke. I don't think there's much mention made about dwarf women in Tolkiens notes and shit. I could be wrong though, I largely gave up on LOTRs once I got up to the Tom Bombadil chapters. Someone who knows what they're talking about could tell you.

  10. Sad that people forgot what Alpha actually means and it has been used more as a marketing tool along with beta/early access.

    However 1 thing I won't excuse them is charging people to be in the alpha, I mean they're offering and people buying so why not, free money, still crappy way to do it imho.

    Either way this game is years from finishing as already stated, and the combat really needs a lot of works still there's not much anti zerg mechanic, and while I enjoy the idea of "outplaying" a hard mob, like you did the lvl 8 elite, it also shows there isn't much to it, I don't mind it happening but not that easy, if it had proffession items involved or some other skill attached it would be fine, but out-regening isn't really outplaying a "hard" mob.

    But, again, its a looong way from finished and as they also stated this is a barebone experience to test their technical side rather than content, though i reinforce the idea they really need to pay attention to combat as its a main drive of the game.
