  5. 2024 is super optimistic. This game have been developed for 4 years. But what we have seen in alpha 1, there is still crazy amount of bug and 90% of the game feature is still missing.
    What make you think they can release and polish the game in the next 3 years when they only make 10% of the game for the past 4 years?
    Although they are expanding their team, there is sooooo much they need to work on.

  17. Ive seen studio tours at Intrepid from several years ago, the work they had on their screens wasnt in the A1 as well. Really curious what they have behind the curtains

  18. GW2 is a really good game, It's just too bad the world pvp is manipulated by big squads and the fights can be meaningless at times due to the "leaders" throwing fights for rank management.
    New World rushed to be greedy, like Amazon is a broke company….kneecapped themselves.

  19. New World SERIOUSLY dropped the ball on reporting/banning and people have been getting banned because their PVP opponents would pre-emptive strike with maliciously mass reporting their opponents and Amazon just automatically ban the innocent players.🤬🤬🤬

  21. I don't mind waiting as long as it's a great game when it comes out. Heck, Final Fantasy XIV started development in early 2005, was released 5.5 years later, rebuilt and released ARR (2.0) in 2013… that's pretty much 8 years of development, and now it's one of the top 3 MMORPGs.

  23. im very skeptical about ashes of creation.
    people talk about it like its gonna be a second coming of Jesus Christ him self…
    but im getting more of a cyberpunk/no mans sky vibe from it. absolutely INSANE HYPE before release, than its gonna suck balls, and everyone will be disappointed, and its gonna get bashed in to oblivion on the internet lol.

  25. No, it looks generic and oversize to me, no new combat mechanics, generic enemy designs, no survival mechanics or out of the box bosses or mobs, dont get me wrong, is good to have something classic but I wont wait for something classic

  30. nah, they released New World so they could make SOME money off of it before no one is interested any longer. the more time they can draw money from people before AoC arrives, the better. once AoC arrives New World loses a MASSIVE chunk of their prospective revenue. So, no… waiting to let New World cook a bit longer so it released in a better condition was not an option. not unless they wanted to make no money off of it.

  40. We don't have much of a choice but to wait. As a Braver of Worlds level backer I have less of a wait than most though:) I'm just hoping they add more content to alpha 2 now that they've got the technical in reasonable shape
