  1. $500 to play an alpha for a weekend then continues on to attack Star Citizen a Crowd Funded game for selling ships to fund the largest MMO ever made…..and then thinks they didn't get scammed out of $500.😂😂😂

  2. AoC isn't a scam, probably… However, it does seem like a game for the "whales", or more so the top 1%. The concept of players owning towns and taxing them is going to be extremely hurtful for all casual players and players who join later on.

  3. I get the points and i agree its notna scam. But can some1 answer me this:

If AOC is being made by X amount of people for Y amount of money per month/year
Why not hire 2x/3x more people to speed up the process while the game quality remains the same?

  4. THE most ethical monetization would be having no microtransactions whatsoever though. So please don't suck them up on that because microtransactions ruin the feeling of cosmetics.
You will 100% know the company will focus on making the coolest looking shit gated behind real money. So the ultimate loot will always look worse.

  5. Define scam.

I think the game will release, but that doesn't remove the predatory elements, steven being a past scam artist and him on all accounts being a terrible person.
