  2. Good catch. Glad to see that you are right on top of the game. I watched the stream live and my reaction is that the addition of the Betas to the keys is a change rather than a clarification. This blunts some of the criticism of the value of the keys and is likely intended to increase sales. It appears that Intrepid actively downplayed the amount of previous A2 pre-orders in order to provide justification for re-opening A2 sales. "Over 100k" can be any number, including estimates of 200k or more, which I think would be more accurate. Of course, it is a realistic assessment that the vast majority of initial weekend testers will drop by the wayside, so the amount of consistent testers that can be counted on during Phase 1 and 2 will be relatively small over the long term. Also, as you say, Intrepid needs money to continue development and I am certain that all of their funding is in some way dependent upon demonstrating a revenue stream. Once Real Alpha Two™begins next Summer or Fall, A2 key sales should increase. The next thing to look for is the return of the cosmetics.

  6. Its interesting that there is such backlash now, when technically the pricetag existed already for access, and has been the same since A1, i think currently there is an even broader audience keeping an eye on the game, and in turn creating more "drama" surrounding the pricing of the alpha
