I was a little worried you wouldnt give this game a fair shake bc of some earlier commentary, but the content and systems in NW are actually fun and good! Some marauders and i put together a roving war band w like 20 players! Im gonna play on release for sure.

you do realise NW took a lot of those "node" ideas from AoC right? Therefore not really worth looking at what NW did in this respect, just a simplified version of what AoC want to put in

New world is great. Combat is amazing. I like the fact you actually have to try with new world combat. It's not the tab target, rng based hand holder of grandpa's mmos.

New world is great in terms of visual, graphics but in terms of features they have no clue what they are doing i think this devs never played an sandbox or pvx mmorpg to have a clue how to build one and just surrender of the idea and followed the easy way to copy theme parks keeping some sandbox features but removing thinks like risk or items sinks what give longevity to that type of games….
How i see new world is an Albion online with superior Graphics and decent combat but inferior in everything else, still on fence if i going refund or not , but Amazon pick the wrong feedback, from people that never played mmorpgs and Pve players , they are going in the wrong way… In other hand you have people that understand of that type of games saying they need ways to sink items, bring more meaning to open world pvp , reward/risk, change territory system because right now is pointless , and all this people are getting deleted by some fanboys with no clue how this games works…

I gave new world a try and it was a good game but wasnt my game. I also feel like, specially with a company like amazon, it couldve been way more polished. But even after all that, there are core hardcore mmorpg features that are missing. I feel like its more for casual gamers or those that dont typically play mmorpgs. On the other hand, im incredibly hyped for ashes. Its just too bad that flying mounts are so exclusive.

As somebody whos played Ashes alpha, and New World Beta(s).. they're not even comparable at the moment, Ashes isnt even a game yet & New World is ready to come out (don't know why swimming is so aids in New World tho)
Ashes of creation will be so much similar to Archeage and most people dont even knew about archeage xD Will be fun to see if people will play Archeage 2 which is comming before AoC
