Happy to see your video! Really cool that you were involved with this!! Congrats💯!! Enjoy playing!!! 🤗 thanks for sharing!!!!
That's awesome, I'm super happy your in the Alpha
Auto attack works like Elder Scrolls then? I guess it adds a bit more of active gameplay. Praying this is out when WotLK is over
This is awesome to hear thank you
Gotta remember, this wasn't a real alpha or meant to be an actual test of the game. It was first and foremost a stress test and to catch any easily fixable bugs. So things like combat are gonna be overhauled soon, according to Steven as of today actually.
I find it interesting that the auto attack is manual. Things to increase skill cap are good to me. If the auto attack has a shared cooldown it might be interesting to see how and when you use it. It would beat the purpose of calling it an "auto-attack" though.
Combat is being overhauled…so be careful what you say about it.
on a scale of 1-10, how much fun did u have?
Nice 1.
EMBER was able to level up our own node to lvl 3, we had a lot of fun with it and we were even able to buy some land. <3
Great Video EbbnFlow. I've watched some of your videos in the past and always liked your content. I have never really felt like Ashes was a game that would be successful. I don't feel a point control/map control (node) based MMO really lends itself to a wide audience. It pushes more of a hardcore PvP mentality. It will most likely foster a very ganking/griefing type of community. Which most people won't really like. Also, in regards to questing I hate quests in general. You should never have markers for quests the game should be a MMO-RPG. Meaning you have to engage in the world. You have to speak to NPC's you have to find content. Not have it hand fed to you. I really have no faith in this game whatsoever but having said that I will of course follow it and see where it leads.
Do people who are waiting for New World and Ashes of Creation actually play other games or do they spend all their time dreaming about games that aren't out yet? Just curious what everyone's favorite real MMO that's out is.
Good video thanks for keeping us up to date! Appreciate ya
i dont mind tab targeted gameplay, in fact i feel that action combat is HIGHLY overrated. If i wanted action combat, id go play dark souls.
I've always wanted to get into a mmo… so I watch a lot of content of it. Been following ashes, glad to find another good channel that covers it
so the big question is….. summoner game play ?
I miss WildStar!! I heard they were trying to Make and Bring out Private servers for that! Have you heard that?
Sounds pretty good for alpha!!! Very excited for the game
sounds like your in the falconer or shaman class kind of person
i hope i can spam it with primary mouse button
Nodes worked. Also… did gf buy her own copy? If not that's an open breach of NDA
Like many sayd what u playd u cant even call it a1 u need to w8 until july
Any one know the level of difficulty this mmo has? I like a difficult game and in mmo I consider the mythic raids from wow as a sort of base line
i mean whats the difference between having a green name and having a marker? Green name itself is a marker but less intuitive. Might as well give a small quest icon over their head
I played the cleric the combat was bare bones but really good for this stage in development. Played until level 15 (Steven boosted everyone) the world is beautiful combat is good monster design was awesome and the quest although some were disjointed and broken they were really fun
This game is gonna be rough, it's trying to do too many things at once. Just going to be a mess, it won't even release till 2024 at the earliest. If you want higher skill and aiming, go play NW
I'm all for the auto-attack spam. Sounds like it work simiral to how it does in Neverwinter and that was fun to do.
The basic weapon attack you do actually wasn't intended to be an auto-attack. If you switch to action mode, the keybindings switch your weapon attack to your mouse click. I kind of hope that they change it, as it does make it a little hard to move around my fingers while outside of action mode. If they don't, I might actually switch it to my gaming mouse scroll wheel, which might be overkill.
Sounds decent but the quest thing worries me a bit.
