  1. Sweet, now I won't be able to play it probably😐 I have a 6 core Ryzen 5 3500, and GTX 1650 super, pretty sure I can't run unreal 5? Idk I'm a noob🤦‍♀️

  2. UE5 is GREAT when it comes to textures, lighting (raytracing especially), and sound, but it's pretty bad with animation rigging, and it has a few other flaws.
Fortunately, it should be easy to work with and modify to Intrepid Studio's needs. I foresee great things in its future.

  3. Neat news and good video, appreciate it Narc.

Imo the tech limitations of the massive siege battles are secondary to the difficulty of actually getting 1000 people to participate. Thinking about it, getting 1000 schedules of 1000 interested players who are within a competent ability range would be hard enough. Add in the complexity of risk / reward incentives and you’ve got a brain teaser for sure. Add in making the experience meaningful and repeatable and you may as well just not do it imo.

Epic battles are indeed epic, but in history / fiction they general have extreme buildup, happen and are over for good.

  4. as always, thx for sharing narc <3

btw. they also mentioned that to be able to equip the cosmetics you have to earn/craft a respective gear to use it als „carrier“. so there won‘t be a flood of cosmetic players running around at day one and therefore you will be still able to estimate the stats of the opponent, kind off i guess.

  5. I know it's in alpha but the only thing I still don't like til this day is the way the skills look. It's like all this beautiful landscape and architecture and then these really bad looking skill particle effects. I hope they refine them as development goes on.
